Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase from us. If you change your mind, or need to return your goods because of a fault, our returns policy explains what you should do and what your rights and responsibilities are.

Different procedures apply depending on whether you are returning goods because you decide you do not want them, or because they are faulty. Please refer to the appropriate advice on this page.

Please also refer to clauses 3 and 4 of our Terms and Conditions of Supply, as well as the other terms contained therein. Further information on your legal rights can be obtained from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau (www.citizensadvice.org.uk).

Returning goods that you do not want

When you can return goods that you do not want

You may change your mind and cancel an order, or return goods that you have received but no longer want, at any point up to 14 days after the date that the final item of you order is delivered. This period is known as the cooling-off period. You do not need a reason to return the goods during this time.

Letting us know you wish to cancel your order

You should contact us to let us know you wish to cancel your order before the end of the cooling-off period by emailing us on website@wtsbroadcast.com or telephoning us on +44 (0)20 8594 3336.

Calls to us will be charged at standard UK call rates, (BT land lines only, other network charges may vary) and may be recorded for quality and training purposes).

Returning goods you have already received

If you have already received the goods, you must return them to us as soon as possible to the below address:

WTS – Returned Goods Department
32 Bower Hill Industrial Estate
Bower Terrace
Epping
CM16 7BN
UK

If you fail to return the goods, you will be liable to pay for them even if we have already refunded you.

Condition of returned goods

You have a legal duty to keep the goods in your possession, to take reasonable care of them and not to use them before you return them to us.

If the value of the goods is reduced because you have handled them beyond what is necessary (such as to see the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods) then we may charge you an appropriate amount and take that amount from what we owe you. This might happen because you start to use the goods, or because you do not return all the accessories included with an item.

The item must be unused, undamaged, in as-new condition, with all accessories and manuals intact. Items with timers and shutters must show zero use.

Cost of returning unwanted goods

Unless you are returning the goods because of a defect, or because the goods were not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. If you send the goods at our expense, we will charge you for the costs of the return, even if we have already refunded you.

Receiving a refund for unwanted goods

Without undue delay after you contact us to cancel your order (and in any event within any time period specified in law, typically 14 days after we receive the goods back from you) we will refund the price of the goods and any delivery charges paid for by you (but not the cost of returning the goods to us unless you are returning them because of a defect, or because the goods were not as described).

If you are cancelling the Terms and returning the goods because of a defect or the goods were not as described, we will also refund any reasonable costs that you incur in returning the goods to us.

Refund method

Any refunds will be made on the debit card or the credit card which you used to pay for the goods.

Returning faulty goods

By law, you have rights relating to refunds and to have faulty goods repaired or replaced if realistically possible. Nothing in our Terms and Conditions of Supply affects these legal rights.

Letting us know you want to return faulty goods

If you want us to repair or replace faulty goods or want a refund, please email website@wtsbroadcast.com or telephone +44 (0)20 8594 3336 as soon as reasonably possible, explaining the fault.

Returning faulty goods during the warranty period

Once you have advised us of your intention to return faulty goods, you should send them to the following address:

WTS – Returned Goods Department
32 Bower Hill Industrial Estate
Bower Terrace
Epping
CM16 7BN
UK

If you are returning the goods because of a defect, we will refund any reasonable costs that you incur in returning the goods to us.

Repairing or replacing faulty goods under warranty

Any warranty we give is only valid if you advise us of the defect within seven days of when you discover or ought to have discovered the defect and if we have been given an opportunity to examine the faulty goods within 14 days of notification of the defect.

We shall not be liable to repair or replace the goods under warranty if:

  • You continue to use the goods once you become aware of the fault;
  • The defect arises as a result of your failure to follow our (or the manufacturer’s) oral or written instructions as to the storage, installation, commissioning, use, or maintenance of the goods;
  • You alter or repair the goods without our written consent;
  • The defect arises due to mishandling, negligence, abuse or unreasonable or improper use.

NB If you sell the goods within the warranty period there is no right for the warranty to be transferred to the new buyer.

If a product is deemed faulty within the warranty period and you have complied with the provisions under clause 3 of our Terms and Conditions of Supply, we shall at our option either repair or replace such goods (or the defective part thereof).

Receiving a refund for faulty goods

We retain the right to refund the price of the goods provided that you return the goods to us prior to the refund.

Please note that this is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the current regulations.
